Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my great pleasure to thank you all for attending the 14^th International Veterinary Immunology Symposium (IVIS2025), that was hosted in the historic and vibrant city of Vienna, Austria for the first time.

As Chairperson of this important event, I was honoured to host a global gathering of scientists, veterinarians, researchers, and industry partners who share a commitment to advancing the field of veterinary immunology. This symposium represented a unique opportunity to explore the latest scientific developments, foster international collaborations, and inspire the next generation of researchers working to improve animal and public health through immunological innovation.

Vienna’s rich cultural heritage and reputation for excellence in science and education made it a fitting setting for IVIS2025. Over the course of the symposium, we saw a dynamic scientific program featuring keynote lectures, cutting-edge research presentations, interactive workshops, and valuable networking opportunities. We were also proud to showcase emerging talents and provide a platform for meaningful discussions on current and future challenges in veterinary immunology.

I  want to take this opportunity to thank the Organising Committee for all their hard work and time organizing the symposium. The organizing team made a huge effort to “pull out all the stops” to make this a truly memorable event.

May I also take this opportunity to thank the scientific committee comprising both local and international members for evaluating abstracts and selecting papers for the program.
